Two goals from Darren Bent saved a woeful Town from defeat against lowly Grimsby. An early goal from Paul Groves, which appeared not to cross the line, gave the Mariners the lead before Bent equalised with a header. A James Pullen howler gave Michael Boulding a goal but Bent hit back again late on. |

A battling Town moved to two points from safety with a 1-0 win over an uninspired Middlesbrough. Darren Bent grabbed the goal within seconds of coming on as a 57th minute substitute. Town were good for their win with a number of other chances created and a hunger which has not been evident in some of the less impressive performances lately. |

After a lacklustre first half goals from Marcus Bent and Sixto Peralta put the Blues two goals up before Malcolm Christie game the Rams hope. Martijn Reuser's first League goal of the season sealed it with three minutes left on the clock. |

Town's miserable run of 15 games without a Premiership win came to an end as goals from Finidi George and Alun Armstrong deservedly beat ten-man Tottenham. George Burley will hope that this first victory since the Derby game in August will finally bump-start Town's Premiership season. With Southampton losing at Manchester United Town are now just four points from safety. |
